We've upgraded Playmatic's testing agent with full vision capabilities running on virtual machines, shifting from DOM-based headless browsers to a vision-first approach. This improvement enables handling advanced edge cases and reduces flakiness in tests.

Playmatic’s agent now leverages new tools and can adapt to customizable rules:

• Email inbox integration: Fully automated email verification, login flows, and email delivery testing.

• Custom rules: Enforce custom rules to your agent so they can understand feature flags and contextual rules to avoid unintended issues during test runs.

Faster Debugging with Real-Time Alerts and PR Comments

Debugging is faster and more efficient with real-time test reports embedded directly within your pull requests. Additionally, alerts can now be seamlessly integrated into Slack using our bot. Set up alerts quickly via the alerts tab on your Playmatic dashboard.

Richer Issue Reporting for Clearer Insights

Issue reports now include enhanced details, helping teams quickly identify, prioritize, and resolve problems. Each issue now has a clear summary, timestamp and origin (saved or generated test).

Additional Improvements:

• Saved and exploratory tests in run reports are now separated for improved clarity.

• Reduced test run initialization speed by approximately 50%.

• Fixed an issue where stopping test runs occasionally failed.

• Significantly minimized unnecessary keystrokes during agent-driven test executions.
